WAKAMATSU

Massage & Dry Needling

Welcome to Wakamatsu,

I blend traditional Japanese techniques with modern therapeutic approaches, including sports massage, lymphatic drainage, and dry needling, to create treatments tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re looking to relieve tension, support recovery, or simply take time to unwind, each session is designed with care and intention.

Wakamatsu, meaning “young pine” in Japanese, symbolises vitality, resilience, and steady growth.

These qualities lie at the heart of my approach. Rather than simply offering temporary relief, I prioritise continuous body maintenance, helping you stay flexible, energised, and balanced.

With regular, personalised treatments, your body can cultivate lasting strength and resilience, much like a pine tree growing steadily over time.

Hello, I'm Misato

My fascination with health began early in life thanks to my constant companion: chronic illness. While doctors provided remedies (some genuinely helpful), I came to understand that there's no quick fix, health is something you nurture through lifelong care and maintenance.

I was born in Japan, where I trained and worked in alternative care, at first specialising in reflexology and momihogushi (a traditional Japanese massage technique known for its deeply relaxing, oil-free methods). Then came London where I broadened my expertise, blending tradition with modern practices.

With experience in both luxury hotel spas and intimate private settings, I’ve learned that exceptional care is rooted in personalisation. I aim to create a serene, welcoming environment where every client feels heard and supported.
