INFRARED LIGHT

Infrared light is used during massage treatments to deliver soothing warmth deep into muscles and tissue.

The visible red light works on the skin’s surface, encouraging healthy cellular activity and supporting natural skin repair, while the infrared wavelengths penetrate deeper layers, improving circulation, easing stiffness, and helping the body’s own healing processes work more efficiently.

When combined with massage, the light prepares the body to respond more readily to touch. Muscles relax more fully, allowing the massage to reach deeper layers with far less resistance. The result is a release of tension that feels smooth and effortless rather than forced. This increased circulation also enhances oxygen flow, reduces lingering soreness, and supports faster recovery after physical strain or everyday stress.

The warmth itself has a calming rhythm. It encourages the nervous system to settle, guiding the body out of its protective, tightened state and into one that feels safe and deeply at ease. Many people describe a sense of heaviness in their limbs, a gentle quieting of the mind, and a comforting feeling of being unburdened as the treatment progresses.

Together, the therapeutic light and massage create a gentle, non-invasive way to soothe both body and mind, leaving you feeling relaxed, restored, and revitalised long after the session ends.
